The Scholarship for Christian Young People is run by the cooperation of the Ministry of Human Capacities in Hungary and partner churches pursuing humanitarian activities in crisis regions. The core mission of the program is to provide the opportunity to study in Hungary to young Christians in crisis regions or those being threatened in their home countries due to their faith.

Scholarships are available for Bachelor, Master, and One-tier Master programs. For the 2019/20 academic year, the scholarship is available to citizens of the following countries: the Lebanese Republic, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Israel, Egypt, Palestine, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Kenya, and Nigeria. Applicants may not carry a Hungarian citizenship.

Online applications open at the end of January 2019. The deadline to submit online applications is 20 March 2019.

Scholarships are for applicants who are older than 18 years of age by the time their education starts in Hungary. Applicants must submit verification and proof from their church that the applicant belongs to their religious community.
