Youth Ministry

Ark Camps

Ark Camp” is a social project of RCH including a series of summer camps for socially disadvantaged children. The main goal of the project is to promote social inclusion in the framework of six-day thematic residential camps for altogether 6,500 students between 2018 and 2021, financed by EU funds. Participants are mostly socially disadvantaged children living in so called “convergence regions”, connected to the public education system of RCH.

Hungarian Reformed Church Aid

Bridge of Love

Offer yourself: be a volunteer with the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid! Park clean ups, visiting the elderly, sharing sweets, charity runs, walking dogs that are living in shelters - just a few of the options among the programs of the Bridge of Love Reformed Volunteering Day organized by HRCA in the Carpathian Basin.

Solidarity in times of COVID-19

„Together in Solidarity for a New Start” – the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid established a crisis fund and invited individuals and congregations to financially support those in need due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Voicing Wishes

War in Ukraine - HRCA receiving refugess at the Railway Station

Due to the war in Ukraine, human lives are at risk, people lack basic supplies and have been forced to leave their homes. IDPs have reached the Western part of Ukraine and refugees are arriving to Hungary in growing numbers. The Hungarian Reformed Church Aid has been providing emergency response from the first day.

1 % Campaigns

Each year the RCH releases a visual communications campaign to encourage the Hungarian tax payers to allocate their 1% to the Church. Similarly to the "Otto per mille" system in Italy, tax payers have namely the possibility to direct one percent of their paid income tax to a particular church and a second 1% tp an NGO. This donation helps to fund the various ministries of the church throughout Hungary. With their 1% pledge more than 250 000 people support annually the various ministries of RCH.  Here you can see videos from the campaigns of 2020, 2018, 2014 and 2011. For the 1% Campaign of 2013 please check the section above "Videos from other RCH ministries".

East in West: Kirchentag 2013

We were present at "Kirchentag" in Hamburg with an amazing team representing various mission fields and social ministries of RCH. We had our own booth under the motto East in West where we invited friend and partners to socially and politically sensitive discussions. Have a look at our Kirchentag2013 photo gallery.
