Dániel Pásztor resigned from his pastoral ministry in the congregation of Sajóvelezd (Cistibiscan Church District, Northern Hungary). The resignation, due to personal and health reasons, terminates his mandate as bishop and ministerial vice-president of the Synod. The resignation will become effective with the formal decision of the Presidency of the Reformed Presbytery of Borsod-Gömör to accept the resignation.
Dániel Pásztor informed the Presidential Council of the Synod of the Reformed Church in Hungary of his decision, which stands by him with brotherly love; thinks of his service with a grateful heart, and asks God's blessing for his future life.
The Cistibiscan Reformed Church District will elect a new bishop according to the election rules of the Reformed Church in Hungary.
