Rev. Najla Kassab expressed her gratitude for the support of the Hungarian Reformed community. "The Hungarian Reformed churches are an important part of the global Reformed community, especially in terms of the steadfastness with which Hungarian Reformed Christians view their Reformed identity," said Najla Kassab.

Both expressed their hope that the relationship would continue regardless of the transition and that the relationship between the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon and the Hungarian church would only grow stronger.
