The Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary got extended by a new campus, practice school and kindergarten
As a result of the restructuring of the Hungarian higher education system, the Teacher Training Faculty as well as the Petőfi Sándor Practice School and Kindergarten of John von Neumann University (Kecskemét, Hungary) will be incorporated into Károli Gáspár University as of 31 July 2020.
The forerunner of the Teacher Training Faculty of John von Neumann University was founded by the Reformed Congregation of Kecskemét in 1918 and was nationalized in 1948. So, the institution will return to the organisation of the Reformed Church after 72 years. Building on the traditions of Reformed higher education and driven by our Christian commitment, it is the mission of our university to develop teacher training along modern requirements in the Kecskemét region.
