February 10 marked the beginning of Marriage Week international, a project Richard and Maria Kane started in England in 1997. Currently, it is celebrated in 23 countries around the world, including Hungary.

Still Hope for a Peaceful Resolution in Serbia?

The Synod Council of the Reformed Christian Church in Serbia has decided on the appeals process regarding the recent bishop election in Serbia. The Council agreed to repeal the election results and approved the convening of a Synod meeting.

Bishop Election Frustrations Continue in Serbia

The voting drama in the Reformed Christian Church in Serbia (RCCS) concerning the election of Béla Halász continues to persist well into 2013. The Voting Committee met again on 28 January, but there was still no official announcement made.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in Hungary and Around the World

On 20 January, the world joined together for a week of prayer as a call for community and Christian unity. The overarching theme and reflection for this year's Week of Prayer is "What does God require from us?" which finds its Biblical basis in Micah 6:6-8.

New Bishop Elected for the Hungarian-Speaking Reformed Community in Serbia

It has been a long, complicated road to elect a new Bishop for the Reformed Christian Church in Serbia (RCCS), but the voting process is almost complete and they are one step closer to an official announcement. Béla Halász was elected with 23 votes to 14 over Attila Orosz.
