First Syriac Center in Hungary Opened

On December 16, 2020, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received the keys of the building which the Government of Hungary gave to the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate to administer as a Syriac Center for the period of 50 years.

Former Client of RCH in EU expert group

Parviz Khyber former client and than colleague of the Refugee Ministry and its implementing partner, the Kalunba Non-Profit was accepted to the expert group of the European Commission on the views of migrants on asylum and integration.

Mission 2020 Complete

The Wishlist project of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (HRCA) proved to be a success: 1800 donors offered support to fulfill Christmas wishes of 2020 children in a total value of 50 000 EUR. One of the gifts came all the way from Australia.

Hungary Joins 'Red Wednesday' Initiative

Red Wednesday is a worldwide action initiated by the Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), a Catholic Pontificial Foundation, in 2015. Hundreds of churches, monuments and buildings will be illuminated tonight in red light in a global call for religious freedom and solidarity with the persecuted Christians.

Károli Christian Scholarship

The Károli Gáspár University of the RCH established a scholarship scheme for young Christian students living in minority in selected countries of the Middle-East, Asia and Africa. Applications are no open for the Acedemic year 2021/22.

Help Reached the People of Artsakh

The Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA) has been sheltering displaced families from Artsakh in Armenia with the support of the Hungary Helps Agency and the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid. Hungarian support for Armania is a symbolic sign of unquestionable solidarity.
