Programs for the Year of Unity

In honor of the tenth anniversary of the reunion of the Hungarian Reformed Church, a youth festival, several professional forums, and other annually organized programs held throughout the Carpathian Basin, will determine the rhythm of 2019. We gathered these transborder Reformed programs below.

RCH journeys with PCT

The Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, long-standing partner of RCH, issued a prophetic call to journey together in pursuit of justice and peace for Taiwan and the Asia Pacific. RCH echoed the call positively.

The 2019 Starpoint Reformed Youth Festival will be held on 23-27 July in Debrecen, focusing on the theme "Unity".

Growing Partnership in the Middle East

Through many years of mutual collaboration, the partnership of the Reformed Church in Hungary and the Reformed churches in the Middle East only grows stronger. A highlight of this long-standing partnership is the recent visit of Syrian church leaders to discuss opportunities of further cooperation.

To continue and strengthen the partnership, the Reformed Church in Hungary has invited church leaders of the Armenian Protestant Community in Syria and the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon to Budapest for a Partnership Visit.
