Celebration of Presence and Community

A large number of people attended this year's Hungarian Reformed Unity Day in Debrecen, despite the cool weather. The Great Church and its surroundings hosted the event, which included various church services, music, youth and children's programmes, and a women's association conference.

"Grace is Also My Share"

The task of the team of the National Reformed Roma Ministry is to support the ministry of evangelisation among the Roma people, either directly or in cooperation with Reformed congregations and institutions, and to work toward reconciliation between Roma and non-Roma. Metanoia and Renewal

"The novelty of our approach is the clear dedication and outspoken conviction that the Gospel is relevant also in the life of youngsters". 2025 will be the year of youth ministry. Rev. Áron Ablonczy, head of the Youth Office and his colleague, Luca Oláh explained the main goals, program highlights and prioritized topics during the year.

National Reformed Roma Ministry Prayer Day and Meeting

On 13 April, the Reformed Church of Káposztámegyer, Budapest, and its surroundings bustled with community life early in the morning. Roma and non-Roma people from all over the country came for the tenth edition of the prayer day. All had come for an exceptional opportunity to give themselves freely to the Word of God, the joy of encounter and their often challenging identity, the Roma culture.

Meeting of the General Synod

On November 6-7, the General Synod of the Reformed Church in Hungary held its two-day session in Balatonszárszó. The participants discussed in detail the law on the legal status and service of ministers, but also the census data, youth mission, the Year of the Pastoral Profession, and the upcoming "Year of the Living Word" announced for 2024.

Twenty Years of the Starpoint Festival At Its Peak

Nearly five thousand visitors attended the Starpoint Festival, the Reformed Church's largest biennial youth mission project hosted for the last 20 years.

Lilla Vad joined the staff team of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid in February 2009 as the coordinator of the Bridge of Love program. During her more than a decade of service, she has experienced the growth of the organization and the multiplication of tasks.

Joint Solidarity with Afghan Refugees in Pakistan

The Hungarian Reformed Church Aid, answering the call of the Presbyterian Church in Pakistan, launched a two-week donation campaign to support the humanitarian program offering help to Afghan refugees in the country.

Victims of Porrajmos Remembered in Kecskemét

The Roma Ministry of RCH and the reformed congregation in Kecskemét held a joint event to honor the Roma victims of the Holocaust in the courtyard of the Hajnalcsillag (Morning Star) Roma Afterchool.
